Shank Assembly #9 – Rigid 450mm to suit 150x150 RHS Description:
This #9 Rigid Shank Assembly includes the complete #9 shank (with blade), plain shinguard, rigid shank carrier with shear pin recoil, and clamp to suit 150x150 RHS toolbars.
The #9 shank is designed for deep ripping in demanding soil conditions. Its narrow profile maximises hardpan fracture while minimising soil inversion.
The shear pin recoil system provides a maximum breakout force of 4,830kg (10,648lbs) at the blade, helping maintain working depth while protecting the machine from damage.
This assembly is commonly used on AP51 and AP52 Agrowplows or plough frames with 150x150 RHS toolbars.
Other configurations available
A 600mm working depth version to suit 150x150 RHS is also available.
A 450mm working depth assembly to suit 200x200 RHS toolbars is also available.

The 150x150 assembly has a shearpin operation that has a huge 4,830kg (10,648lbs) maximum breakout at the blade, so you can see great results even in tough, compacted subsoils. It also has a sturdy, narrow profile to maximise hardpan shatter without soil inversion.
Included is a 450mm working depth shank, plain shinguard, GP & H/F blade, and complete mounting assembly to suit 150x150 RHS. This assembly is commonly used on AP51 models and can be purchased also as 600mm working depth shank assembly.
