This blade comes with beefed-up tungsten grit hard facing designed to protect and prolong the life of the blade. A knock-on tool for the safe installation of #8 blades is available here.
This blade is most suited to rocky terrain and extremely abrasive conditions.
These blades can also be fitted to #1 shanks if this adapter is installed.
