Shank Assembly #9 - Inversion Kit 600mm to suit 200x200 RHS Description:
This #9 Inversion Shank Assembly Kit includes the complete 600mm working depth inversion shank (with blade), rigid #9 shank carrier with shear pin recoil, and clamp to suit 200x200 RHS toolbars.
The inversion shank is designed to lift soil from the bottom of the working depth toward the surface. This disrupts soil layering and intermixes the soil profile while still fracturing and aerating the subsoil.
This assembly is designed to operate at working depths of up to 600mm, depending on soil conditions and tractor capability. A 450mm working depth version is also available.
Kit parts are supplied unassembled. Please factor this into setup estimates.
Operational Notes:
The inversion shank requires more draft force than a standard #9 shank. In harder soil conditions this may cause the shank assembly to break out sooner, reducing achievable working depth.
If the shank is operating in a recoiled position it will not perform correctly. Continued use in this condition may increase wear or cause damage to the assembly.
