Shank Assembly #9 – Hydraulic v2 Description:
This #9 Hydraulic Shank Assembly kit includes the #9 shank with blade, shinguard, hydraulic recoil armature, and mounting components to suit either 150x150 or 200x200 RHS toolbars.
It is available with a shank length of 450mm or 600mm to suit your working depth requirements.
About the #9 Shank
The #9 shank is designed for deep ripping in demanding soil conditions. Its sturdy, narrow profile maximises hardpan fracture while minimising soil inversion, helping improve soil structure, moisture infiltration and root development.
The hydraulic recoil system provides up to 1846kg (4070lbs) of breakout force at the blade, allowing the shank to maintain working depth in compacted soils while protecting the machine from damage.
A unique scissor-action recoil design allows the shank to move through a wider arc than conventional systems. Multiple pivot points help prevent buried obstacles from catching and damaging the shank.

- The 600mm shank is not suited to all soil conditions and is recommended only for use in soft soils. Consult Agrowplow Sales before considering this option.
