#8 Shearpin & Clips - 90mm long Description:
This 90 mm shearpin is the current standard for #8-9 Hybrid Rigid Shank 100 x 100 mm RHS assemblies fitted to AP11 and AP31 ploughs and provides a breakout force of 1,089 kg at the blade.
Selecting the correct shearpin reduces downtime caused by unnecessary breakages and lowers the risk of damaging cast components or warping the plough frame.
Different shearpin lengths are used across #8 and #8-9 Hybrid carriers. Measure the length of your existing shearpin to confirm the correct replacement for your machine.
Shear pins require replacement once broken. Ground conditions vary, but we recommend operators keep at least three spare shearpins per row.
