Blade #9 - GP Tungsten Tile Hardfaced with Roll Pin Description:
This GP blade is the standard blade fitted to new Agrowplow machines from the factory and is considered the general-purpose option for most soil types and operating conditions. For rocky terrain, the Hardfaced Blade (for rocky soils) (122-1009) is recommended.
The blade is secured to the shank with the included roll pin (140-4077). A hardened roll pin punch (022-4030) is available separately to assist with removal and installation.

About the #9 Blade:
The #9 blade is unique to Agrowplow and is designed as the premium ripping blade for your plough. Its job is to slice through the soil and reach the desired working depth. Acting as a wedge, the blade lifts and fractures compacted soil layers, improving aeration, water infiltration, and soil structure.
The #9 blade uses a “wear-back” ridge design that holds soil against the blade surface during operation. This creates a protective dirt layer so the blade runs with dirt-on-dirt contact rather than steel-on-dirt contact, reducing wear and extending blade life.
With the hard-wearing tungsten teeth and hardfaced finishes, users commonly report the #9 blade lasting two to three times longer than the legacy #8 'knock-on' blade.
