Where to find your serial number

Locate the serial number of your machine.

Where to find your serial number

If you need spare parts, technical support, warranty assistance, or information about your machine, one of the first things we may ask for is your machine serial number.

Your serial number helps us identify the exact machine build and manufacturing details to better support you.

Where do I find the serial number?

On Agrowplow deep rippers and ploughs, the serial number plate is typically located:

  • On the far left-hand side of the front toolbar
  • Mounted to the chassis of the machine
  • Facing forward as you stand behind the tractor looking toward the machine

The serial number is stamped onto a small silver and black metal identification plate.

What does the serial number look like?

Modern Agrowplow serial numbers usually follow a format similar to:

AP70-3762-23

This identifies:

  • Machine model
  • Production/job number
  • Year of manufacture

Older machines may use different serial number formats depending on the year they were built.

Check your operator’s manual

Your machine serial number should also be recorded in the operator’s manual supplied with your machine.

The manual may also contain:

  • A dedicated machine information page.
  • Serial number location diagrams.
  • Important service and warranty information.

If the serial number plate on your machine is damaged, painted over, or difficult to read, checking the operator’s manual is often the quickest option.

Why is the serial number important?

Providing the correct serial number helps us:

  • Identify the correct spare parts.
  • Confirm machine specifications.
  • Assist with technical support.
  • Check manufacturing details.
  • Process warranty enquiries accurately.

Need help?

If you are unable to locate your serial number, contact the Agrowplow team and include:

  • Photos of the machine
  • Approximate year of manufacture
  • Machine model (if known)

Our team can often help identify the machine from photos and build details.
