Premium fabricated hardfaced baker boot point to suit the 425 Coil Tyne assembly.
Manufactured in Australia from 6mm Bisalloy plate, this point is fully fabricated rather than cast. Fabricated construction provides greater structural integrity and resistance to cracking under load compared to cast alternatives. It is built to withstand extreme wear while maintaining cutting efficiency and consistent slot formation. Many operators report multiple seasons of service, reduced changeovers, and lower wear-part cost per hectare.
All leading edges are reinforced with tungsten carbide chip and hardfaced welding for extended wear life. Compared to non-hardfaced points, this design delivers significantly improved resistance to abrasion and impact in harsh soils.
Produces a clean inverted “T” groove for accurate seed placement, strong seed-to-soil contact and minimal soil disturbance, supporting reliable germination and establishment.
This is the same fabricated point used on the 325 assembly. Supplied with metric hardware to suit 425 coil tynes (60mm hole centres):
